Eric. No last name. He's an incubus, incubii and sucubii in this world are their own species, not some demon summoning shenanigans. They are incredibly long lived but breed very rarely (many believe incubii and sucubii CANNOT be killed/die until they have children). They feed on sex and desire exclusively, though they can 'eat' real food to experience flavor and tease lovers. They simply gain no sustenance from it. They often have 2-4 horns of varying styles depending on area they were born in (Greek -ubii tend towards goat horns for example). They are not always conventionally beautiful, Eric isn't, but they ARE irresistible. Modern Ubii tend to be big on consent/sex based jobs to live whereas older ones seem to forget that laws can track supernaturals easier these days. Every Ubii born knows true love exists, it is the only way they can breed, to find someone who sees THEM instead of the fantasy ideal their powers provide. Most ubii are rather jaded before they every find such, though their hunger tames down when finding their other as such a bond tends to make other 'meals' less palatable or nutritious.
There are two types of birth when it comes to ubii: Standard and non standard. Standard births are when the breeding couple have gender compatibility and fertility. In this circumstance there is little difference between human birth and ubii birth; children have an equal chance of being ubii or their other parent species. Non-standard birth occurs in circumstances where couples are not gender compatible, or the chosen mate is infertile. This is a non-voluntary event in which the ubii siphon life essence from their partner and themselves to gestate within themselves regardless of gender. This results in a child growing in the interstitial spaces of the abdomen and all ubii non-standard children are born premature and through surgery. Children born in this manner are always, without exception, ubii, though they may display physical traits from their other parent, and unlike standard born ubii, that awaken the hunger need at puberty, parents must siphon life energy into the child as a form of life support daily until puberty and the child can begin to feed itself. Naturally this leads to a shorter life span for the parents, though often not obviously so depending on how well parents may stay.
Related, ubii are predators and carry many of the same traits as other predators in the world. They do not tolerate other ubii hunters in their territory unless they are blood related and even the may get snappy at each other over time. In a neutral/unclaimed zone with a hefty food supply they can coexist with another ubii (in this day and age for work purposes), but often return to their own territories as soon as possible. Ubii cannot and do not hunt together or date each other.
