He shuddered noticeably.
He didn't like festering...anythings.
"Well I'm glad for that," he said quietly. He tried for another smile, but it was shaky on his lips. "You don't smell bad, either."
The lights on the road were becoming more frequent, with larger buildings and a glimpse of a city skyline peeping through the trees.
